Sketching isn’t something I love doing, but I know its very good practice. I love the flow and spread of paint, and really I hate the drag of pencil across paper. If I am going to sketch I prefer charcoal, but I don’t like it all over my hands. I have found a nice solution in charcoal pencils. Sticks of charcoal nicely wrapped up in wood. Here are a few of the new friends I have created this week. Three girls each with a different feel.
This one was inspired by my daughter, Z, who always seemed a bit like Wednesday Adams.
